AeroCool Pro Series Evaporative Coolers
Evaporative
coolers operate on the principle that as water evaporates it
draws heat with it. By circulating water over a cooling pad and
passing warm air through the pad the air is cooled. This air is
then circulated throughout your home to cool it down. You direct
the cooled air to locations in your home by opening windows and
doors. In general, evaporative coolers will lower the
temperature approximately 20 to 25 degrees.
Evaporative coolers are efficient in that they
use approximately one-fourth the energy needed to operate an
air conditioner. Because they are continually adding fresh
air to your home, a complete air change occurs every
one-to-three minutes. Along with pushing heat out, an
evaporative cooler can help reduce stale air, smoke and
odors while helping maintain humidity levels, so wood floors
and furniture won’t dry out.

The AeroCool Pro Series® Contractor line of whole house
coolers are the best in the evaporative cooling industry.
These units are available as a side discharge or down
discharge system allowing them to be mounted either on the
roof or on the side of a home. Special features include the
Pro-4x4 cooling media, a cooling pad that achieves up to 92%
evaporative efficiency, and the Pro-Stat programmable
thermostat control system, a feature that automatically
maintains your selected temperature using the least amount
of energy possible. The AeroCool Pro Series offers more
energy savings, more water savings, more comfort than any
other evaporative cooler.
All models feature the Pro-4x4 high efficiency media that
delivers the coolest air possible. Along with the Pro-Clean
System which maintains the cleanliness of your evaporative
cooler by automatically draining the cooler and refilling it
with fresh clean water, thus avoiding scale build-up. The
water used in the evaporative process is stored inside the
fully encapsulated Pro-Armor wet section. In addition, the
low style sump pump is the most powerful on the market today
and its unique design is protected by a patent.
The Pro-Stat programmable thermostat, with a large LCD
display, automatically maintains the desired temperature
using the least amount of energy possible. The wall mounted
control allows either automatic or manual operation. The
thermostat can be programmed to delay turning on or off for
up to 24 hours. You can also drain the cooler from the
control by pressing the drain button. The convenient control
system can also operate the unit without the water section
to provide fresh air when desired.
Additionally, AreoCool Pro Series models come with
"Pro-Shield". This weatherizing panel protects heat loss and
cold air from entering into your home during the winter. The
panel covers the air intake protecting not only the unit but
also the media from the elements of winter, helping to
extend its life.
AreoCool units have a lifetime warranty on the inserted
plastic assembly with a two year warranty applied to all
other components.
